China: Biggest online population in the world, still expanding

The online population of China has grown around 42%  to almost 300 million.  It is estimated the number of net users in China is around the same as the entire population of the U.S.  Just a pity Chinese Internet access is so heavily censored.

In Pictures from the BBC: EU art installation

This caught my eye today and thought I would share. This has attracted some criticism for the message behind the art.
Having Britain outside the kit was just inspired.  As was depicting the Netherlands as minarets sticking up from flood water.

European Union disappointment over Russian gas flow

Almost time to get the books and get the semester rolling
