Aphex on Canvas

This is my first oil on canvas. I often have the trouble of never knowing what to paint.  I thought to myself “Why not paint the symbol of the greatest electronic musician of my time?”  So I did.

Admittedly I went a bit heavy on the paint but it was intentional. Being a novice at oil painting I could find no other way of conveying the sense of swirling movement I managed by layering the paint on thick.
